Lawyer, author, and a former aide to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Reno Omokri has via his verified Twitter handle react to the insecurity challenges faced by Nigeria as a nation.

Mr. Omokri who is known for his antecedence as an activist and a committed critic of the Buhari- APC- Led administration has come out with very direct but thoughtful criticism of the insecurity challenges facing Nigeria.

In his tweet, he gave a verdict on the role of the state governors compared to the role of the two antagonized secession activists- Sunday Igboho and the IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

He asserted that the governors are not worthy to be called the chief security officers of their states since they can' t face the challenges that come with insecurity in their states. He stated that governors when faced with insecurity from either Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, or bandits run to take photos with the president leaving their states to wallow in gruesome insecurity. He claimed that such an act of negligence makes them Powerless and unworthy to be ascribed the title of Chief Security Officer of their respective states.

He went on to make a clear verdict on the governors by rating Sunday Igboho and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as real Chief Security Officers since they exact more control over security than any Nigerian governor presently.

The two secession activists have been at the forefront of tackling insecurity faced in the Southern part of the country. Sunday Igboho has been a vanguard in the eviction of the Fulani herders terrorising the west by gruesome killings and destruction of properties.

While Mazi Nnamdi Kanu saw the need to create a regional security outfit to end the menace and terror unleashed by the Fulani herdsmen who have been made invisible since they can' t be arrested and punished for their crimes by the government.
